Innovation Center to be built at 1364 E Green Street
For a century, Caltech has kept Southern California at the forefront of innovation and made Pasadena a destination for the study of life, health, sustainability, the earth, other worlds, and the cosmos. A new research and development center on Green Street will reflect this tradition, carefully continuing to cultivate our local economy while still embracing the local community.
The proposed innovation center, on property owned by Caltech and developed by Trammell Crow Co., will provide offices and research-and-development laboratory space for startup companies and established businesses.
The future center is now in design and community discussion stages. Construction is anticipated in 2026.
