Leyla Naimi is a Project Manager at Caltech Facilities – Planning, Design, and Construction. She joined Caltech in 2023 and has over 13 years of construction project management experience. Prior to Caltech, Leyla was part of various projects including UCLA Edie & Lew Wasserman Eye Research Center, UC Berkeley Bakar BioEnginuity Hub, Chase Center Arena, Ace Hotel DTLA, Google Office Renovations, and ET Parking Structure at Universal Studios. Leyla has a BS in Construction Management from Cal Poly San Luis Obispo and an MS in Civil & Environmental Engineering from Stanford. Leyla's interest in buildings stems from an interest in bettering communities; she has volunteered in organizations and roles focused on education and poverty including with WiOPs (Women in Construction Operations), HOLA (Heart of Los Angeles), MEND (Meet Each Need with Dignity), and ACE Mentor.
