Leyla Naimi is a Senior Project Manager at Caltech in the Facilities Planning, Design, and Construction department. Leyla leads projects with logistical, technical, and strategic complexities, including high precision physics labs and infrastructure replacements to occupied buildings. She brings a service-oriented mindset and attention to detail to bring value where it matters most. She values data, transparency, and integrity to build a strong, collaborative team.
Prior to joining Caltech, Leyla implemented large-scale ground-up buildings and renovations as a contractor on projects focused on complex phasing, high-end finishes, and fast-track schedules for clients including Chase Center Arena, Google, NBC Universal, UCLA, and UC Berkeley.
Leyla has an MS in Civil & Environmental Engineering, Sustainable Design & Construction, from Stanford University focused on lean and industrialized construction and a BS in Construction Management from Cal Poly San Luis Obispo focused on integrated project delivery and collaborative teams.
Leyla has volunteered with education and poverty non-profit organizations. She enjoys traveling, community events, and trying new things.
