Lauvai "Vai" Tufele is an Associate Project Manager for Facilities Planning, Design & Construction with over 5 years of experience in K–12 and higher education. Before Caltech, Lauvai worked on the general contractor side as construction project engineer and assistant project manager working with various CSU campuses, Los Angeles County Development Authority (LACDA), City of Irvine, City of Palm Springs, NAVFAC, and the Army Corps of Engineers. Lauvai's educational background consists of a Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice with a minor in Psychology, PMP Certification from San Diego State University, and Construction Manager In Training Certification from CMAA.
